Hello it's been forever!  Almost a year!  Wow time flies.  I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, it's just that most of the people who read this, I already talk to on a daily basis so it's like repeating myself!  Here's a brief synopsis on my goings on:

I'M COMING HOME!!!

Today I come home from my weeklong business trip.  I've never been happier to see my family...especially my little 'seesther'. 

It's raining here in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  I went outside to put my luggage in my car and I'm cam back in, face glistening, not from the rain, but from the utter humidity and heat.  It may be raining, but it is HOT out there!  It's like walking into a steam room!  And you know me, I sweat if I eat ice cream too fast, so I had to ask the lady at the front desk for a tissue.  It's so unbecoming and unladylike! 

No matter though...I'M GOING BACK TO CALI, CALI, CALI!

Hey Y'all!  Life on the road has been quite interesting.  I do get a little lonely at times, but it's been a real experience.  The weather here is faily mild considering it's usually 12 degrees cooler than usual.  It is a little more humid than home (so thank God that I don't have frizzy hair). 

Last time when I updated, I wanted to write more, but there were some people in the the business center and I didn't want to get in anyone's way in case they needed to get anything important done.  Well I guess not everyone is that considerate.  First of all, I was in there to try and pull some docs off the internet, but my printer won't work, so since the other couple was in there, I decided to come back.  Then when I did, some yahoo dude, was sitting in there on some porn site.  I thought when I walked in, that he'd probably get embarrassed and walk out, but NO, he just kept on, thinking that little partition between us would keep me from knowing what he was looking at...what a creep!  You're in a hotel for Pete's sake!  Please go do that in the privacy in your own room thanks!

Overall, my experience in the South has been very good.  The time difference hasn't affected me much, but maybe I should wait until I get back to see just how exhausted I am.  Driving down here isn't that confusing, and the traffic is so light compared to Cali!  You can't hear it, but when I'm typing, my voice in my head speaks with a southern drawl!   

I did meet this one guy who I thought was so cute!  He's married, and I wouldn't have gone for it, but he sure was a tall glass of water...

...but who cares?  Didn't I mention that I'm dating again?  Not like that's a big deal.  He's a really nice guy, and when I get a little more time I will elaborate, as well as include pictures, because I have taken quite a few down here of the houses, and my friends in Atlanta.  For now, I have to jet back up to my room, change into some business attire, freshen up my makeup and meet up with a broker in the next 15 minutes!  Later gaters!

Am here on business trip.  A little lonely, but not too bad since I have friends in the city.  Saw Timmy and Jerry for the first time in years.  Met Timmy's wife finally and she's such a doll!  The architecture here is so wonderful...I'll update after I get back with pictures!

Have been here since Sunday night, but have only found time recently to update.  It's weird when you travel alone where the only agenda is work.  It's not like everyone else where they work at satellite offices, or have a team going with them.  I'm all alone...really.  I wake up in the morning and all I want to do is fly home.  I miss my family.

Next stop, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  I will really really be alone there.  I don't even know anyone who lives close to there!  It may be a good thing so I can hole myself up in my hotel room and input data after scouting out the area.  It'll probably also drive me nuts since I'm big on human contact.  I hope they have a Waffle House...

SUMMER BUZZ

What is it about summertime that gives you so much inspiration?  I'm ready to go out there and meet people, take chances and have some freakin' fun already!  It's funny how your life can fall into such a boring routine if you let it.  I look at the past couple months and all I do is get up, go to work, go to dance class, come home, watch TV, and go to sleep.  YAWN!  I want to go on dates, go out dancing, lay on the beach, or just read a good book!  I'm excited.  I can't wait to see what will come my way!  BRING IT ON!  Summer always makes me feel this way.  If only it was like this all year long......
